Similar to a Pezzi ball or gym ball, these birthing / labour / maternity / gym balls are excellent for finding a comfortable sitting position in the later stages of pregnancy, when sitting anywhere else can leave you very uncomfortable within minutes. They are equally useful during all stages of labour, helping you to find positions which ease and assist your birthing.

Burst resistant, being made of anti-burst rubber, as they are coated with a substance which resists the tendency to collapse suddenly if the ball becomes punctured. These balls would instead collapse slowly and let the user down gently, thereby allowing time to stand up safely and reducing the possibility of injury.
