Why Wonderoos? In an independent consumer trial Wonderoos out-performed all other reusable nappies and 78% of disposable nappies tested. There are so many washable nappies on the market, but having tried several different real nappies ourselves, including popular one-size cotton, sized bamboo and all-in-one cotton pocket nappies, we found that Wonderoos excelled in several areas and chose to sell only them:

• The fit is excellent, especially for a one-size nappy - far better than the others we tried! The multiple poppers allow for much more varied sizing, and the new Wonderoos V2 has been made with an even trimmer cut than before.
• Comfort - the elastic around the legs and back is covered in a very soft micro-fleece to keep your baby happy and smiling! Also, we found that Wonderoos didn't impede small baby's movement to anywhere near the same degree as the other one-size style we tried because, even with the large insert they are less bulky and the outer is made of super-soft cloth feel polyester (PUL) material.
• Flexibility - the main bamboo insert, made of 6 layers of soft, stretchy, fast-absorbing bamboo terry, has a clever folded design, thereby maintaining absorbency but allowing for much quicker drying than many other cotton and bamboo inserts. The snap on microterry booster pad is ideal for small babies, and later on can be positioned for girls and for boys, adding absorbency in the optimum place. Fabulous idea!
• Reliability - unique anti-wicking technology prevents spread of wetness around the elasticated edges, containment is excellent around legs and at the back, and leakages are almost unheard of. Wonderoos perform very reliably so you can be confident in using them at home and on the move. The booster pad can be used when baby is small or when you need a bit of extra absorbency.
• Dryness - the micro-fleece inner (the bit that is in contact with baby's bum), as well as being soft, is breahable and allows the moisture through, but not back again - so remains almost completely dry against the skin.For nights once baby sleeps through, try a small and large, or two large, inserts poppered together.
• Environmental - Wonderoos are made from man-made fibres and bamboo. The latter as a crop has less impact than cotton growing, and bamboo fabric is known for its softness, absorbency and natural anti-microbial properties. Cotton, unless it is organic, is one of the most highly sprayed crops in the world, meaning it has a significant impact on the environment. The man made PUL and fleece of the main nappy, and the tri-fold bamboo insert mean that it is much easier to manage washables without a tumble dryer and they will generally dry overnight on an airing rack. In fact, we found the main body of the nappy to be almost dry when removing from the washing machine!
